Who We Are
Adel Ceballos & Rafael Garcia
Adel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has been working with children since 2009. She began her career working at a private practice servicing children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and other special needs. Subsequently, she worked at schools catering to “at risk” youths. For the past 3 years she has had the privilege of running her own private practice working with children diagnosed within the Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. Adel began working with adults when she opened Inner Awakening Therapy in 2017. She worked with individuals diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Marriage, and more. Adel is also a Lead Analyst providing ABA Therapy.
Ralph, is an attorney in private practice focused on civil litigation. In addition, Ralph has a broad business background having worked as an executive in a variety of business settings. During his spare time, Ralph provides pro bono work as a Guardian ad Litem for children involved in the Department of Children and Families. Ralph found a passion in Hypnotherapy and has helped several individuals with anxiety, eating disorders, weight-loss, and addictions. Ralph is also an Ordained Minister providing couples with the strength and prayer.
Adel and Ralph are the owners of a childcare (Stepping Stones Childcare & Preschool, and two private schools (Discovery Academy in Edgewater and Discovery Academy of DeLand). Together, they work with children and families to help them mentally, spiritually, and academically.
Ralph and Adel have worked together with several couples assisting them in marriage counseling/couples therapy.
